The mat is less rigid than I expected so the chair kind of sinks into it a little and gets stuck in one place. My biggest complaint is Staples attached a big shipping label to the mat which absolutely cannot be peeled scratched or chemically removed. Seems like this chair mat will meet my home office needs perfectly although I've had it less than a week and haven't used it much yet. It has good weight and grips the medium pile carpet well.
