Clear and smooth design

I use this product at my computer desk on a carpeted floor. The mat's spikes prevent it from slipping and moving on the carpet when my chair on rollers slides on it. The clear color allows the carpet to be visible underneath. I bought this mat to replace a similar one that had multiple cracks. I am hoping that this one lasts well.

Too short

The great thing about this is the price and I got my $10 worth. I would vote for a $15 version that is 8-12 inches longer. This one is a little too short and I find myself sliding off the mat. Also it sinks down into the carpet where the chair is. If the grippers on the bottom weren't so long I would use it in a different area on an oriental carpet atop a hard surface. That would be ideal.

Flimsy construction. OK for home use.

OK for ordinary in home us for a small home office. DO NOT use on high pile carpet. Only use on low pile carpeting. Cheap flimsy construction. Chair forms pock marks and indentations in the chair mat itself. Lacks thickness and smooth rolling ability. Not worth the cost of item.

It was a good choice for me. The price was perfect. It does move some after using it for awhile so you have to readjust it periodacaly. Over-all I am happy with this product.

For everyday use this may be too thin for any carpet. I have it in my study and it works for me; I spend about 2 hours in my study.

Had it a month and denting in already

This is just the right size for working at my small desk but I have only had this a few weeks and already there are large dents in the mat where I apparently sit with the rollers in the same place every time I sit down to work... I have a feeling this won't last very long and am wondering if I should have spent a few more dollars to get a better quality one. It isn't digging into the carpet as much but I just can't see that it will last more than a year. Granted I am not a skinny person but I had expected better and have had better luck with other plastic floor mats.
