It is alright. Not quite as good as I thought it would be on my Carpet. But it will do. Not firm. Chair wheels make indentions on it and therefore hard to roll out of the indentions.

I was just so excited about this mat I immediately went out and celebrated. We had dinner and went to a movie as part of the celebration. Then we all came back and stood around the mat looking at it saying what a bautiful piece it was and how fantastic it was that a company could manufactuire some thing of this great quality. Afterwards as part of the celebration I donated to the woke crowd to keep them happy. I was afraid that my exuberance would upset them if it was not part of their agenda. Thahks for asking. It has certainly been an experieince.I wish everybody could enjoy this moment.

This was in stock in the store and came flat so we didn't have to struggle to unroll it. There were a few size choices and thickness. Store price was competitive with other online offerings. It is somewhat think so I don't expect it to last for many years but for price it is fulfilling our needs.

Quality worth the money

I first bought one of the chair mats for "medium" pile. I had actually measured by using a straightened paper clip and my carpet pile plus pad was exactly 3/4 inch thick as they specified... but my chair left dents in the plastic and I'm only 180 pounds. So... I returned it (Staples is very good about that) and ordered this heavier one (that they call 'high' for up to 1 inch thick carpet/pad combination). It is definitely the better choice. Move up a thickness compared to the basic rating and you'll be happier with your purchase!

Set up the mat in my home office put the chair on the mat. Hadn't even sat in the chair on the mat and there were already dents in the mat. Dents just make it harder to roll around in the chair
