Bought a nice looking chair mat for my office. While it looks nice and is the perfect size I'm a bit disappointed because it is thin and fairly soft. Consequently my rolling chair makes wheel dents and can be a nuisance to move the chair

The old thick and rigid plastic chair mats were better than these new vinyl ones. If you sit in the same place for a while the chair wheels make an indentation which stays there for a while and it's hard to keep from rolling back into that when you change position.
