This flat pile carpet mat is great way to make sure to keep the chair from damaging the carpet. I have actually purchased two now and will purchase again

Staples 46 x 60 High Pile Carpet Chair Mat Rectangular

The mat slides around on my high pile carpet just as my old one did. The "anchors" are not deep enough to hold it in place. I had to set my desk on the end of the mat to hold it in place. That was not what I expected when I ordered it.
