Bought this to protect the carpet under my desk. Was pretty easy into the exact shape I needed with a pair of tin snips. Bottom side is rough so it doesn't move over the carpeting.

This mat was delivered in hand by the Staples' driver. It was not in a box nor was it rolled up. I was very impressed by that! It works well. The size is perfect. I would definitely recommend.

It was advertised as medium pile and it is no different than very short pile application. Therefore it will not last very long on medium pile carpet. Very disappointed. Will need another one within a year I suspect. On medium pile carpet you are better off just buying a piece of plywood and cut it to size. This is the only purchase I've made at Staples that I was not completely satisfied with

Surface too soft. Wheels of desk chair sink in and then it is hard to move.

We recently had our entire den remodeled including new carpet. Needed the chair matt to protect the new wall 2 wall and it is the right size and does the job well. Sales person was very helpful and the product is exactly what we needed ....
