I paid extra for one that was supposed to be heavier and not dent. It's the same as the cheap ones. I'm going to have to buy a piece of hardboard and put rug tape on it because it's too irritating to keep trying to roll my chair out of the rut. It will keep the hardboard from mashing the carpet down I guess.

The item is what I wanted heavier than a prior chair mat....BUT the carrier left a bit to be desired. The item came without packing or protection of any kind and was FILTHY...had to wash it twice with soapy water seemed like oily foot prints on it.....my rag was black and had to change that both times when cleaning item...hoped it would have been clean and ready to use...perhaps you need to upgrade carriers!
