Arrived coiled up my suggestion is to allow it to unroll for 24+ hours then gently open it place it on the floor and put something on it (like a jug of water) to flatten it out.Thickness (approx 145 mils) was what I was looking for. I'm using it on low pile carpet. The thinner mats (80 mils 100mils) just don't last.

This may replaced a similar item which was 12 years old and broken. Looks fine actually I prefer to think of it as a 36x36 with a lip which goes under a desk or similar.

Like every other mat I've used this one also easily takes the impressions from the wheels on my chair and I need to "coax" it out of those depressions every time I move my chair.
