The plastic mat does not do what is made to do. The mat is in the den on an area rug with a office style chair. The plastic mat slides all the time as the chair moves. Very disappointed. Does Staples have a different and better plastic mat?

It is a great mat if no one sits in the chair. With someone in the chair the casters make big dimples in the mat which makes it difficult to move the chair. The cleats on the backside are not deep enough to prevent the mat from sliding. I finally had to screw the mat to the floor.

I have vinyl tile floor and this mat works perfectly. It arrived generally flat which was really nice! There was little not no wait on it settling and becoming flat. Pros: - lays flat - large surface - lightly texture on the chair side to keep the chair from just rolling off in to the wind. - strong material. Cons: - it does lightly slide around after a bunch of movement.
