We purchased a crystal clear chair mat at Staples Palm Desert a week ago and found it was the perfect fit so we went to get a second one at the Staples Palm Springs. They did not have the same size mat on display but an employee was kind enough to go check in the back and found one!! We are very pleased with both the mats and the customer service!

It stays in securely in place. I like the mat but the chair wheels leaves little indentations in the mat. It does seem to smooth back out after awhile.

This mat is is the right size and better than some less expensive ones but my chair wheels dent it. It can be hard to move the chair as the wheels get "stuck" in the dips they make into the mat. The chair is also a Staples chair so it should not be a compatibility problem. The bottom line is I recommend finding a different mat one that is not as soft as this one.

Still not thick enough

Good sized mat and poly material seems as advertised however chair castors deform even this thicker design so are not free rolling. No matt cracking evident yet after four weeks.

I wanted a basic pad under my chair for my sewing machine and didn't want to pay much so for that reason I should give it a 5. Plus I wanted to 'trim' the plastic and needed to be able to do that myself (which worked out great). However the soft nature of the plastic shows indentations where I've been sitting so I'm wondering how long with pad will hold up so I brought the score down a notch. Not sorry with my purchase; just wantk people to be away of the problems when 'going the cheap route' (Had I not needed to be able to trim the lip part that goes under the sewing machine desk I'd have bought the better one.)
