Cracking/splitting

The purchase on the whole was Great except I had purchased the same Mat about 4 years ago. When I purchased it then it came rolled up as wrapped in "shrink wrap" in 2 places around the outside. This one was not wrapped which made it somewhat difficult to handle. That's probably why they charge you a service charge for special handling.

Quality is not what it used to be

The mat looks good but the plastic is softer than it used to be so chair casters leave marks and it off-gases a lot. Sending it back.

Pad not thick enough to support chairs on medium depth carpets. Plastic sags where wheels land and continue to leave dents.

Don't Bother

I used this for several months on a newly finished Oak floor. When I moved the mat there was damage to the floor anyway. There were scuff marks around the edges of the mat. A better solution is to buy new casters (wheels) for your chair. You will want softer wheels - that do not mark up hardwood floors.
