Using this mat at the computer makes the chair roll much more easily without tearing up the carpet.

I use this product at a desk in my home office to protect the carpet. The size is perfect for a small space.

Used it on thicker carpet and it is a little flimsy for it. But it says "for commercial and low-pile carpet".

Unlike other chairmats this one is more flexible and is therefore easier to use and doesn't slide around on the floor.

MY CHAIR LEAVES HOLES OR RIPPLES IN THE MAT AND MY CHAIR IS JUST A REGULAR OFFICE CHAIR WITH WHEELS AND I ONLY WEIGH 180 LBS. THE HOLES OR RIPPLES GO AWAY WHEN I MOVE THE CHAIR RIGHT NOW BUT WHO KNOWS WHAT MAY HAPPEN AFTER A MONTH OR TWO. THE HOLES THE CHAIR MAKES IN THE MAT MAKE IT VERY HARD TO MOVE THE CHAIR AROUND BEHIND THE DESK. IF YOU BUY ONE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT BUT REMEMBER I WARNED YOU.....
