I purchased this mat to replace one I'd had for over 15 years. Sadly I went off price instead of quality or reviews. This is a basic mat but it does not stay in place and moves around as you move around on your chair. It is on industrial carpeting as was my other mat but this one does not have any cleats so there is nothing to hold it in place. If you can afford more I would go for one up. I'm reordering with another company that offers a cleated one for less.

Relatively useless for protection

We took it up almost immediately. We have very expensive new hardwood floors and we could see that would scratch it. We are getting a rug and the appropriate mat.

I ordered on line and received the mat in a couple of days. It was definitely worth the money. This is the second floor mat that I purchased from Staples. The first one is still in use and has lasted 14 years.
