THIS IS MY SECOND MAT ONLY BECAUSE THEY HAD A SALE. I WANTED A HARD FINISHED MAT. FAR TOO SOFT AND THE WHEELS DIG IN TO THE MAT.

The mat is fine but the spikes are possibly too long for our carpet style. [...]

Misrepresented!
on August 2, 2010

This mat said it was for carpeting up to 3/4" thick. I put it on 1/2" carpet which should have been even better but just sitting down in my 5 roller/leg chair for 5 minutes left dents! It was thinner than the one I had bought for way less. Poor quality product. THIN. A waste of my time!

low pile only

It does say low pile without padding and because of the great price I tried it on a padded carpet and it is correct that it will not work for that application. The wheels sink into it so don't try it because it will not work well.

Mat is adequate for medium thick carpet but a little more thickness wouldn't hurt.
