Heavy and solid enough for regular daily use. I'm 6'0" and 225 lbs and this mat does the job for me in the home office even for extended use (8+ hrs). The expected indentations appear during long use but I've never gotten stuck in them and find it easy to move freely. Sits well on plush carpet and rolling in an executive chair is pretty smooth. Price was fair for this level of quality.

This nice thick mat is great ...no divits to sink into... easy to move your chair around on. It doesn't move around on the carpet!

the wheels dig in and you have to push out of indents. if you have a thin carpet with thin matting under it this is not for you. i'm thinking of taking it back.

I have to reset this sliding mat several times a day. I bought the one that was supposed to be appropriate for the type of rug I have under my desk but it's not holding its position in any way that's useful. Very disappointed!
