So far it's working out like the one we had to replace that one lasted a couple of years but being plastic plastic does have a shelf life and gets brittle and cracks so if I get the same time with this one I will be happy

I weigh 155 and have a standard size chair. The mat is quite thin and the wheels of my chair leave pretty deep impressions and doesn’t easily move when I need it to. I would not buy again.

It works okay on my berber carpet. My chair had already made indents into the carpet so with the mat on top my chair tends to roll to where the indents were.

I like that it is clear which keeps it looking fresh. Now having said that It is not thick enough to where my chair doesn’t sink in and get stuck but maybe that only happens if you are on a hard surface and not carpet and/ or you only weigh 175 lbs or less. I can say that I have had worse where it would sink in almost immediately but this one takes about an hour when sitting in one spot. Hope this helps.

We have a low shag carpet and this is too weak to hold its form. Dimples are starting to form and the chair is becoming difficult to move. This might be good on very low tight pile glue down carpet that you see in office buildings but don't use it for your home carpet.

Great mat for the price. I was using a heavier desk chair and it did make large "divits" that were a little difficult to roll out of. I switched to a little lighter chair and it's been better. Definitely better than not having one but if I do wish I had invested in a little thicker mat.
