We have a pretty thick pile carpet in the room where my desk is. I spend a fair amount of time in front of the computer. Like any plastic mat this one does develop dents from the chair wheels over time. I turn the chair base every day or two to help change the pressure points on the mat. This mat seems to be better than the previous one I bought. It has been slower to develop the dents. The mat itself is fine and helps the chair move more easily than rolling on the carpet. Despite the slight dents in the mat the carpet underneath shows no signs of imprints from the chair wheels. I will purchase this item again in the future when this one ages out.

Must be the wrong carpet chair mat. This mat looks like the one I replaced. The last one lasted 4-5 years. After 7-10 days the chair wheels are sinking into the floor mat.

This was shipped funky…not secure or rolled up??? The poor ups guy was sorry he had to hand off a mess of a mat… But it has flattened out & works perfect

If I didn't need a mat right now to cover my carpet this would go back. I only weigh 105 and when I step on it there are indentations. My chair is already indenting the mat. I had the smaller version previously and it was nothing like this. In addition it was delivered scratched in no packaging in a lump in my garage. Who ships a scratchable mat with no packaging. Sticker right on the mat and a task to remove. Not happy.
