Exactly what I needed. I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn’t prevent “dimples” from happening when the casters of my chair sit on it. This causes a bit of extra effort to push the chair past the dents. Otherwise it definitely helps.

The chair mat fits the area perfectly. But when sitting in one place for longer than 5 minutes it get a temporary indentation - like a rut - that is hard to roll out of.

Quality has deteriorated since I got one a few years ago. I had to replace my older one since it was starting to crack in places - I had this probably 3-4 years and used it a lot. This one though is thinner and the wheels of our office chair is already making a pretty deep dent into it. Not sure I will keep it. May have to return.

The number of stars I gave this product has no meaning since the usefulness of a Chair Mat is only discernable over time; i.e. like how long before it starts to crack and break down. Hopefully I won’t know that for a long time. (It has been under my chair for a week now and it still working.)
