We've had the mat for less than a month and I noticed two cracks already.

The mat is too soft too flexible. When placed on a carpet the wheels of the chair sink into the mat making it a real challenge to move the chair. I would rate it a 3-star product. It does the job but is as much a nuisance as it is an asset.
