the material is too thin and does not keep the chair from sinking into the carpet. Plus I thought the price too expensive for the product.

It isn't quite as heavy duty as my last chair mat which lasted about seven years. I don't expect this one to be as durable. It was a reasonable price though I have to say.

This mat is working well so far. It gripped effectively on a shallow carpet. Had to let it sit out for a little while at home for it to uncurl. It's small so only good if you don't move widely.

This chair mat has worked well so far; I installed it just a week ago. The last one I had began cracking after about two year's use so I may feel difference about my rating unless this one last longer!
