This mat is too thin. The chair wheels create an indentation that you really need to work at to get out of. It might work for a child someone very light.
When we received the mat it was rolled in a box. It was very hard to unroll and after 1 week the edges are still curled. I put some heat with a hair dryer on the edges and the weighted them and it seemed to help. Seems like if it was rolled the opposite way in the box it may be better.
Not too bad for the money but if a person could afford a thicker stiffer mat it might be worth it. This mat is so soft / thin that the chair legs dig into it. Also so far after ~10 days one corner is still bent up. Will try heating it with a hair dryer to see if I can flatten it out. -HDK
This is my second desk mat and I am sure it will hold up as well as the first one. I have carpeted floors in my apt. and this is a necessity. I am pleased with the amount of use it gets. I sit at my desk more than on my chair or sofa.
