Been using for a few weeks only but so far it's working fine. Slides a little on my hard wood floor but not so much. Good product reasonable price.

Very thin mat

Very flimsy mat. It would work great on surfaces without any carpet at all. Our low-pile carpeting makes the chairs sink in and put grooves in the mat. It's just a matter of time before the chair rollers break through.

I was able to get this mat for [$] after the half price sale and a Staples rebate card. Otherwise I would not have bought this mat. Within the next year or so it's going to crack into miniscule little pieces. Hopefully by then I'll be in a position to buy a $70 chair mat. Unfortunately Staples doesn't offer an in-between.

I've started replacing all of our chair mats with this one because it can handle the weight and constant pressure from even the heaviest user. We bought the thinner and less expensive chair mats that were made for the type of carpet in our office and they would crack and crumble within weeks especially for the bigger men in the office. I've purchased 7 of these and haven't had any complaints since I bought the first one almost 2 years ago. The initial cost seems high but I am no longer replacing the same chair mats every couple of months.

it works but it already has an indentation after 2 weeks of using it. All chairmats are over priced but at least with this one you can protect the carpet and not spend too much
