The short "cleats" while more comfortable to handle do little to keep the mat in place. The former mat was much more stable. The ad also mentioned a warranty but no such info came with the mat.

Last chairmat I had lasted over 10 years we shall see if this one will make it half that long. Used at home and not every day so it should last a very long time.

Economical and efficient

This is a great mat for the price. The only glitch is that it was rolled up when I purchased it and I had to mess with it so it would lay out straight. It is totally fine now and I'm glad I went with it vs. another more expensive mat.

A good pad that fits well. The Chemical odor takes a week or two to burn off. It's a bit offensive in an enclosed office.

Built to Last!

This is the second floor mat of this kind that we've purchased. The first one has held up for a long time and we look forward to the same great experience with the new one. Previously we had purchased a less expensive mat but cracks developed quickly. Clearly it is more economical to spend a little more money upfront to receive a higher quality product which has greater longevity.
