Looks good but slips on low pile carpet

This is my second one of these pads. The first one lasted for YEARS but I finally wore through it. It's on a low-pile carpet and I'm at my desk 6 to 7 days a week often 10 to 12 hours a day. Impressive longevity in my book. I have two computer desks and two computers at a 90 degree angle to each other and this pad is large enough to let me move from one to the other with no problem. It's also very discreet greying out the color of the carpet but not being a visual slam like a color might be. I'm very happy with it and will buy another years from now when it finally wears through :)

It would be great if it stayed in place. I think the tabs underneath should be longer so it grabs the rug better

It's saving wear and tear on my carpet

Not only do I like the chair pad for my home office for its appearance but I like it because it's practically invisible. This is important because my small office is right off the living room and visible to all visitors. I think it important to tell you also that I received excellent service in choosing this chair pad at Staples. The salesman could have just said to himself "It's just a chair pad for God's sake!" and picked out the most expensive and sent me on my way. But he did not. He asked me all kinds of questions about where it was going what kind of chair I was using ( I showed him the exact chair since I had purchased it at Staples about a month earlier) and how many were going to be using the office. Only then did he make a decision on which chair pad I should purchase.

The backing on this mat is not distinct enough to stay in one place and has to be constantly moved.

Wasted my Money

In spite of being designed for carpet it still "creeps" on the carpet and doesn't stay put. It is too soft and pliable so the chair doesn't roll well and I have a high-end chair. This product needs to be thicker sturdier to work on carpet.
