Would be great but it shifts too much

It was so heavy and so difficult to carry out of the store I thought for sure it would stay in place once I got it to the office. However I have to reposition this mat every single day (sometimes twice a day) because it's constantly moving and creeping up one side of my desk. It's very annoying to say the least.

Lightweight

I wish I had realized how lightweight this carpet floor mat is. It tends to slide easily and is never in the spot I placed it. It looks nice but is not the quality of the the mat I had before this also purchased at Staples.

Disappointed

I've had three of these mats over the years and all three lasted 12-16 months before severely cracking. It may be my fault as I'm 200# and use this mat over berber carpeting with a 5-point carpet caster chair. The vinyl material is .110mil which isn't thick enough to support daily use. Staples has been great in replacing the first two but this time they said the warranty was through the manufacturer unless I wanted to upgrade to a different model. Being that was my intent in the first place I gladly paid the additional $35 for the .170mil thick mat which will be delivered to my home free of charge. My recommendation: determine what you need from the descriptions then buy the next thicker model. Staples is one of the best stores I deal with and their motto "We Make It Easy" has always proven to be true. We need to remember they don't manufacture these mats but they do stand behind what they sell!

It's thinner than I expected

I just never thought that a chair mat would be that thin. However when I reviewed the main description it clearly says "flat pile carpet mat". So I am not going to complain! Lesson to learn? Do not order when you are in a hurry!

I bought it for home use. It is well constructed and suits my needs well. It is much better than the one someone gave me. The chair wheels do not make deep depression that are hard to roll out of. I had to order it delivered to the store but that was worth the effort because it serves my needs much better than the ones stocked in the store. The store should stock these
