Sort of does it job but the plastic is too thin. Should have gotten a thicker sheet. My carpet is not deep but deeper than is good for this product. The chair wheels make imprints in the plastic.

Do not purchase this mat it is not what Staples indicates. After setting in the chair on the mat you can not move the chair because the wheels have sunk into the plastic mat.
