Not what I expected

Although I bought the one with cleats because my office floor is carpeted it does not stay put. It moves when my chair moves or even when I walk on it.

I hesitated getting a chair mat for fear of distracting from the ambiance of the room; however the carpet was taking a beating from the rollers on the office chair leaving marks on it. I purchased this particular mat for its size and simplicity and I am not disappointed. It fits perfectly under the desk and chair with just enough room behind the chair for rolling back and forth to and from the desk. The vacuum picks up any dirt or paper pieces on the mat and if a spill were to land on the mat it is easily wiped clean with a wet cloth. The mat stays in place; the corners do not curl. I am very satisfied with my new carpet mat.

The chair mat works great in our home office. The small "cleats" on the mat's underside keep it perfectly in place.

Pleased with Purchase

The chair mat arrived ready assembled and in excellent condition from shipping. I just removed the label and placed it in our home office. I ended up getting another chair mat for my craft room since I was so pleased with the first one. The second one I picked up at our local Staples store and it came with carrying handles on two sides of the mat so I was able to easily carry it by myself and fold it up a little to transport in the back seat of my car. Both chair mats work well on the two different carpet types we have in these two different areas of our home.

Flat Pile Carpet Chair Mat w/Lip 36x48

The price was standard. Didn't catch any sales but still happy with my decision. It came rolled but flattened out within minutes under the weight of the chair. The tiny spikes on the bottom help keep it in place while I move forward and backward in the chair. The lip gives me a solid surface under my feet. Happy with my purchase!

My mistake. The mat is more durable than the last one I purchased but it's not large enough to cover the area required.
