Meets the Need!

I was in need of a new chair mat after the previous one I was using fell apart. After getting an E Mail from Staples I went out to the local Staples Store to see what they had in stock. With immediate help from a store employee I was directed to the office furniture area of the store. There was a wide selection of styles after reviewing the different styles I made the above selection. Good Value for the price easy to get into the store very easy to check out and get on with the days business. Only slight draw back is that this mat is a little bit smaller then my previous one but is working just fine.

I drove to Staples wanting to find some battries. Walked past the plastic Flat Pile Carpet Chair Mat Lip 36" X 48". Liked it so much that I purchased 2 of the Flat Pile Carpt Chair Mats Lip 36" X 48". I struggled to carry them to the register. I passed some new desk chairs one of them highlighted the San Francisco 49ers. Called my wife she is a San Francisco 49er. fan. She did not want me to purchase one Back to carry the mats to the register. Made the purchase said goodbye struggled out to my truck. Now I made it to over 400 characters.

Not very thick

Unfortunately the mat was not quite as thick as I was expecting for the price. I am a fairly light person and my rolling chair leaves dents in the mat with regular use on a daily basis. I am wondering how long it will last.

OK but not the best

This chair mat is a little bit short in the foot area and the grippers on the bottom don't hold it to the carpet as well as another one I purchased.

Delivery issues

I ordered and received the Staples Low Pile Carpet Chair Mat lip 36x48. This is the first time I have been disappointed with Staples. The mat was not packaged in any way and one corner was broken. The delivery man called to get directions to our home and it's a good thing he did. We live in a remote area in a gated community which is difficult to find so we met him at a different location to save him time and effort. I immediately noticed the broken mat but decided to keep it rather than inconvenience the driver who seemed a bit put out. All delivery vehicles need to be equipped with a GPS and arrangements made with our development to get an access code. This delivery was not made by UPS or Fedex but appeared to be an independent service which would explain the difficulty of the delivery.
