Great product for my needs

I brought this item two years ago. It has protected the rug from the repeated rolling of the desk chair. I weighed at that time over 300lbs and used my chair at my computer desk three hundred and twenty five days of the year. It did initially break and continued to break apart about two months before I replaced it. What I am doing is every time I vacuum moving the position of the mat so that I my desk chair wheels are not constantly rolling over the same area. I would fully recommend this product to anyone.

flat pile carpet chair mat

this chair mat is eight inches smaller than the one we had before it. . the gauge of the plastic is thinner and wheels tend to get stuck. maybe if we each lost 5o pounds it would hold the chair wheels up on the top of it instead of sinking into the carpet. a better deal would have been to buy the mat that was $20 more expensive than this one.

Perfect piece

This product is perfect for what I needed. I was having trouble moving my chair on the carpet wether I was sitting or not. Now there are no longer any issues. It's a good product.

Exactly what to expect.

This is the second time I have purchased this item. The original lasted over 3 before it started to crack. I have a very soft carpet so I feel it lasted as long as it should have especially for the price. If your rug is fairly thin then I would expect this chair mat will last longer than the 3 years mine did. The price had remained the same when I purchased it for a second time so it was a no brainer. If you are looking for a decent chair mat thats under $50 then this is definitely your choice a solid mat for a good price.

Nice but Pricey

We have used several of them over the past 4 years. Its size is suitable for our needs. The are very stable and do not shift. But they dry and crack somewhat faster I expected. They are kind of pricey too.

OK chair mat

This chair mat is OK for very low pile carpets but it is much thinner than my previous chair mat. which was also designed for low pile carpets.

Excellent Product!

First of all Quill is an excellent company! I am in charge of all orders for our office. I have never in 7 years been disappointed with my experiences whether it be ordering returning a product or billing. The chairs we ordered were easy to assemble and are extremely comfortable. I commend Quill for prompt delivery great products and easy return policy. Also the "donate" a return product makes it easy rather than returning the product to Quill and schools love it!!!!
