This mat is a good solid weight and is perfect on the low pile carpet. It is clear and smooth and has a good weight to it.

Office chair mat

The mat shifts as a result of moving the chair around. I have only had it a short time and it already has areas that are wore which cause the wheels of the chair to stick in the worn areas/grooves.

Doesn''t last very long

We have several of these mats in our office and have to replace them quite frequently especially those that are on carpet. I'd like to see a mat with a longer lifetime since they're not particularly inexpensive. Pros: protests the floor as promised Cons: doesn't last long so we've had to replace multiple times
