It did what it was supposed to do however it is thinner than I thought and as a result of that it dimples easily so it does create divots and you have to work to move around. If it were a little thicker that may be corrected
Replaced one from approximately 5 years ago. Hope this one holds up like the first one . Thickness of pad appeares is the issue on carpeting. Probably works excellently on wood flooring. Carpeting gives ...pad developes Depressions the pad breaks. Price point lends to every 4/5 years replacement.
Overall the product is fine but somewhat over priced. What does not work is the product label is heavily glued to the mat which takes a fair amount of effort and solvent to remove. Not sure why the need to glue the label to the mat.
I bought this because it was meant for medium one carpet which is exactly what I have. While it is better than some mattress I have found that it is still thin and as a result the chair creates 'dents' after just an hour of sitting that prevent the chair rolling. I'm only 160 lbs so I didn't expect that to be a problem. It does seem to recover so the divots aren't permanent but can be frustrating if you need to move your chair frequently. But it IS better than anything sold for low pile carpets - just don't expect perfection
