This mat is adequate, but not as thick as the one it replaced...that's on me. I thought the only difference between mats was what surface they were used on. Does protect the carpet, but due to the thin material, desk chair doesn't roll very easily as the mat sinks into the carpet.

In 1.5 years we've had it replaced once and the replacement is already cracking and failing in the same way only 4 months later. STAY AWAY. How about instead of putting "women owned" everywhere you put that time and effort into making a product that actually lasts.
