The price for this product is reasonable but I don't know if it will last as long as thicker pads. It does slide and I have to reposition it daily.

Definitely not for most house carpets. The Mat is to thin and soft which allows the chair wheels to sink. I would recommend this only for a office grade carpet or a short berber style carpet.

Not What I expected

I thought this was a thick hard surface vinyl mat. Was disappointed when it arrived rolled up like a piece of thin carpet. Doesn't look like it will last for several years of heavy use but I guess only time will tell.

Over Priced!

I was shocked to find out when I went to [*] that they had a 45" x 53" with a 25" x 12" lip for [$]. It also felt thicker. I paid close to [$] for 36" x 48". As a regular shopper at Staples I am disappointed and feel that I must do some shopping around before I make any future purchases.
