Put the mat over a thin area rug and it holds in place and saves wear on the area rug.

This mat was used to replace an old mat that was cracking. A little small compaired to my old one but the price was right. I bought 2 needed one for another computer area. It was on sale for 1/2 price. Can't beat that

Bought this chairmat to use in our home office. It fits well into the space available and our office chair just glides over it. We really like it.
