am i just too fat for this chair mat? my office chair sinks (the plastic just sinks into the carpet with the wheels) and does not roll on this mat. i've had a different mat before i moved and it stayed much flatter and allowed my chair to roll over with ease
This appears to be a good sturdy mat. It just arrived so iIt's much too early to know about its durability. The problem is I just can't imagine who would decide to glue the eight inch square label on it with permanent glue. We've all dealt with those labels that peel off in tiny curls leaving the bottom layer firmly attached. Well I just spent a half hour with sponges Goof-Off and WD-40 getting it off. Shouldn't be like this. It's a chair mat not a science project. It's not a hard thing to fix.
We have several of these mats in our office and have to replace them quite frequently especially those that are on carpet. I'd like to see a mat with a longer lifetime since they're not particularly inexpensive. Pros: protests the floor as promised Cons: doesn't last long so we've had to replace multiple times
The mat shifts as a result of moving the chair around. I have only had it a short time and it already has areas that are wore which cause the wheels of the chair to stick in the worn areas/grooves.
