Great for home office!

I purchased this for my home office. Carpet a little thicker than recommended still works protects the carpet from the chair.

This carpet chair mat is very thin and should be sold for hard surfaces and not for flat pile rug The chair wheels create indents in the mat that make it difficult to move the chair around while sitting in it. If you are wondering I only weigh 175 pounds so its not me. It is cheaply made and I can see it cracking very easy. I don't think it is worth the price I paid for it it does not serve the purpose it was intended for. Enough said.

I believe that the Staples Flat Pile Carpet Chair Mat Lip by Quill Brand is the correct size that I needed for my office. The carpet chair mat was just the correct fit. I was looking for a size that was neither too large nor too small. The sales associate was very helpful in selecting the correct size carpet chair mat. He also told me that Staples also had a discount coupon in its circular which made the purchase even better from an economic viewpoint. I am currently enjoying the carpet chair mat and I would recommend it to anyone who needs one. Thank you.

poor shipping

The way these are shipped (rolled) and in no box I had to refuse shipment and reorder 3 times in order to get 3 mats that were not cracked. First I sent 2 out of 3 back then 1 out of 2. Then I had to reorder myself in order to get the 3 I needed. Wasn't worth the time and hassle

This mat is just what I needed for my home office. It protects the carpet and make it easy to roll the chair back and forth as needed when I work. Great durability nice smooth surface. The clear plastic allows the carpet color to show through making it more like the mat is really not there. The teeth on the backside of the mat keep the mat from moving with the chair movements. They hold it in place so you don't need to keep adjusting it back in place. Smooth top makes it easy to clean and easy to roll chair on. Perfect for my needs.

Very nice chair mat....only complaint is that they put the shipping label on the mat and it was difficult to remove. Otherwise a good mat for your money.
