We purchased this floor mat for our computer chair that was chipping away at our floor when it rolling back and fourth. We use this floor mat on our uneven hard wood surface now and it works great. It is holding up well and doing the job we purchased it to do. Plus the price was one of the most reasonable out there. I am happy with this purchase.
I purchased this mat to replace another which had lasted for over 25 years until it began to crack and I could not roll my chair over it with ease. The new mat which was placed on LOW pile carpet does not serve its intended purpose at all! It is half as thick as my old mat and the grippers (teeth?) on the underside do not hold the mat in place at all. Each time that I use the chair the mat moves away from my desk and it (because of its thinness) makes it extremely difficult to roll the chair with any kind of ease. If you want a leg workout then this mat could prove useful but not for what it was intended i.e. easy motility while sitting at your desk.
While the product earns 5 stars ..... the fact that there were labels stuck on the mat made for an hour or more of wasted time trying to remove them!!! So annoying!
I was pleased with this purchase. Several choices available at local store and it was competitively priced. The cashier was exfficent and courteous and friendly. Aldo another sales associate was helpful in showing me several different types of the above mentioned (mats). All in all this store is good and its staff is effient helpful and courteous.
I bought this to replace a mat that was falling apart. My old one had the nubs that gripped the floor but were kind of sharp and spiky. This one has flat nubs and I was thinking it was going to be a bad idea but I went with it because I had a coupon and it was on sale. After trying it I found that it works even better than the spiky nubs. It didn't scratch me when I opened it up to lay it flat and but it did grab the carpet as soon as I laid it down. It made it a little challenging to get it flat but after that it was easy to get it to lay flat. It was more flat so less of a challenge for the wheels of my chair to roll over which made it perfect.
