Chair sinks / divots in plastic

I work at my desk 7-9 hrs per day and purchased the matt to protect a medium pile carpet. Within the first few hours my office chair was sinking into the plastic. The entire matt also shifts with use (it has "teeth" but they are very short/dull points) and I have to rearrange the mat nearly every day. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - instead buy a sheet of plywood and have it cut to size you need.

This mat is wonderful--it does not do the dimple effect when a castor from a chair sits on it. It took someone at the store helping us what was right for us and listening to what I did NOT want. But it is perfect and easy to slide chair over even though you've been sitting on the chair for some time. It is NOT rolled up when it comes delivered to your door.

This is a necessary item if your home office is carpeted as mine is. My first one lasted 6 years with 8-10 hours of use daily. Finally had to replace when it cracked apart where the chair wheels usually sit. I hope this new one lasts as long or longer.
