A great solution

We use these envelopes to mail our monthly newsletter. They are strong easy to use self seal (no mess) and the best is they make a good looking presentation coming through the mail. I preprint them with my Kyocera copier. The post office is constantly changing their regulations for bulk mail. The requirement of heavy paper for the newsletter would not work for us because of the difficulty in folding and tabbing the newsletter to prepare for mailing. These envelopes not only solved the problem but makes a much better end product.

Inconsistent

Ordered 4 boxes of these envelopes (1000 pieces). About half of them had NO glue along the side edge of the envelope had to tape them. About 1/4 of the envelopes were stuck to themselves at the very bottom in the corner. About 1/2 of the envelopes had globs of glue along the self stick strip that made the strip stick to my fingers and difficult to toss easily. The ones that had no problem were a pleasure to work with however if I had sent the job out to be stuffed and sealed I would have had a big problem with the mail staying in the envelope. p.s. envelopes were used right away; not stored.

This is one of our regular purchases. We purchase the same thing every time we need this size of envelope. Staples' brand is just as good as the brand names. We love it!

Cannot rate this product as I have not yet received it. I have ordered it twice. First order was arbitrarily cancelled by Staples with no notice to me. Second order is late. It was promised yesterday. Another item in my order has now apparently been discontinued with no notice to me until today. I'm becoming very disappointed in Staples.

Good for Stationery and Thick

These present well when sending letters with additional paperwork. My letterhead prints well on this envelope and self-stick works well. SOMETIMES strip doesn't seal far enough to the right to suit me. Potential to get caught in mail sorters sometimes. I apply a little tape to that edge.
