Fast & Easy to Use - Seals better

These self sealing enevlopes are much faster and more secure than the gummed version. This makes a difference when you have a thousand 6 x 9 catalogs to mail out. The Staples gummed 6 x 9 envelopes while less expensive require a moistening wheel or sponge and do not seal consistently. Catalog sealing is at least 2 times as fast with these. These are also useful when only a few are required at a time since you do not have to deal with moistening the envelope gum. The only improvement on these would be to make the peel off strip recyclable versus throwaway.

I am generally satisfied with these envelopes but the ends of the envelopes aren't gummed and can catch and tear during mailing occasionally.

Adhesive does not work

Perhaps we have gotten a faulty batch but the adhesive on these did NOT keep the envelopes closed even after I pressed them under reams of paper.
