The Staples Easyclose Security Tinted envelopes are definitely tinted and the self closing flap sticks strongly no scotch tape needed. The value for a 100 box is worth it.

Very satisfied with the Staples EasyClose Security Tinted #10 envelopes. I really like they have adhesive to close the envelope and the security is exactly what I was looking for so they can't be held up to the light and see what's inside.

I am deeply disappointed. I bought a box of these envelopes then returned them the next day as none of the envelopes would stay closed. I exchanged the box for a different box hoping I just had a “bad batch” of envelopes. Same thing with the second box. Very cheaply made. You get what you pay for. Stay away from Staples envelopes and go with a name brand
