QuickStrip Glue Fouled Printer

Manager of store (Jim store #1365) said these envelopes are not for use with laser printers. The glue on the QuickStrip fouled my HP 4250 and caused $162.14 in necessary repairs (replacement of 2 transfer rollers). Only use if you have a separate label printer. Jim blamed the HP printer for the damages although it works fine on ordinary "lick" type envelopes.

Poor Quality

They're cheap and it shows. I love Staples but the quality of these "security" envelopes is bad. I put my documents in several and held each envelope up to a light to test the tint feature: I may as well have used a plain white envelope. I could read every single letter. The adhesive strip also isn't very adhesive. Wasted money.
