It would be helpful to have the glue portion go to the end of the flap for more complete sealing of the envelope. I frequently have to add a small piece of tape to each end of the flap to close the envelope completely.

We send items periodically through the US Mail. It is very important that the contents are not viewable. As companies try to keep their products affordable little things (in the case of envelopes) like opacity a smaller/tighter size a less adhesive flap become undesireable. It's good to have this product available.

Helps keep private items like checks remain confidential. Large enough for legal size documents - 3 to 4 pages. I have tried other envelope sizes and types but they do not measure up. Glad to see this product was on sale at my local Staples. Came in handy recently when I had to do a mass mailing quickly - the self stick feature really made the project go fast. I will be heading back to Staples to get the smaller size for small items but the legal size version seems to be one size fits all.

I use these envelopes for business and personal use and they work out great for both. I also like the fact that they are already pre-glued and you just remove the paper strip. No licking and definitely no bad after taste left in your mouth!!!
