1. The end of the envelope flap sticks up enough to stick in the printer too many times. 2. The adhesive should go all the way to the end of the flap. Otherwise the flap end catches on other items.
If you do not mail the letters immediately they become unstuck starting at the edges and working inward. Of course if you mail it they may open up on transit which is just as bad but you don't notice. This happens after as little as 1 hour on this brand new box. My first box was better but if I didn't mail it for a few days I noticed that it was unstuck. Resealing with a lot of pressure worked but only for a while. Next time you looked it was open again. I thought I got a bad batch but this new box is even worse. I always add a piece of tape to ensure it stays closed. So much for convenience. It's back to the lickem ones for me.
I went in looking for the regular stripped envelopes but they didn't seem to be in stock. Then I noticed these on the shelf for less money and though I's give them a try. I am sold on this product. They are sturdy have a good strong adhesive strip that easily pulls off and seals well and are impossible to see through!
I LIKE SECURITY ENVELOPES AND REALLY LIKE THE IDEA OF JUST PEELING OFF THE STRIP AND PRESSING THE ENVELOPE CLOSED. NO NEED TO MOISTEN FIRST!!! THAT'S A GOOD THING.
