Like that they are pretty opaque but the drawback is that the "glue" on the envelope really does NOT well seal the envelope. I always feel obligated to add a bit of tape on the back to ensure they are not casually or accidentally opened.

I send out several envelopes throughout the week and the self sticking panel saves my tongue from paper cuts and bad taste. I love the convience of just pulling the strip and the fact that it's a security type to conceal my envelope contents. Great simple efficient envie.

#10 Envelopes

Unbelievable well thought out envelope! I just folded the letter in thirds and it just slipped in totally enveloped by the envelope. The flap easily closed without a lick after removing the protective paper over the self sticking glue strip. The only issue I had with this envelope was what to do with the protective strip of paper after removal when. Eureka! I just slipped it into the envelope with the confidence no one would be the wiser as the security coded interior would keep it well hidden until opened by the unsuspecting recipient. What more can be said about this awesome envelope.

Easy Close Envelopes

The envelopes are convenient and easy to use. The problem with them is that the adhesive does not go all the way to the end of the flap. As a result in one insatnce that I am aware of the envelope was torn open by the high speed mailing equipment and the contents were lost. The recipient contacted me to let me know of the problem. Since that time I have been using scotch tape to secure the back of the envelope.

I like these. I usually just buy plain #10 envelopes but I love the self closing ones and having security printing on the inside comes in handy for some mailings. Will buy again at this price point.
