These envelopes are great! They are EasyClose and Security Tint no problems. After using these you will not want to go back to licking glue! I feel secure when mailing personal items and haven't ever had a problem with the envelope seal opening -- Shuts Tight! The price is right and no need to buy a different brand.

Seal better but not perfect

When I bought these envelopes about a year ago I had to put a piece of tape across the seal because the adhesive was not strong enough to keep the envelope closed even for a single sheet of paper inside. I just purchased them again recently and the seal is better but still not as strong as I expect from a Staples product.

Goodbye Nasty Envelope Glue!

When you have to mail out a whole lot of envelopes the last thing you want is glue all over your tongue. I love these envelopes for that reason alone but the fact that they have the security tint is a bonus. Easy to use fast to close and nobody knows if I'm mailing a check or a flyer!

The envelopes provide security but I still need to use tape to close the envelope.....The adhesive does not completely close the envelope....
