I did not care nor trust these when I first started using them but sending out over 12 000 letter in 2018 and didn't like licking that many I found the self seal was a great option. I wondered if they would hold. I could open them within minutes if I left out something but the next day it make an envelope unmailable if I did that. So they are easy to use close well and stay sealed. This is ALL I buy now. Thank you for a great product at a fair price.

These envelopes do not stay shut! The adhesive backing does not stick. This necessitates taping down the envelope in order to be assured it is sealed. Defeats the purpose of the 'self-adhesive' properties of the envelope. Will not buy them again. Staples needs to be more focused on quality for their 'branded' products.
