These are not top-of-the-line envelopes with heavier paper and that special look and feel to them. Nor are they the cheap-feeling and sometimes sloppy-looking envelopes sold in the big low-price stores. They are pretty much right for my everyday needs for business and personal mailing. The convenience of press-and-seal and the protection of the security tinting are important. The quality and consistency are satisfactory. Unfortunately this type of envelope is incompatible with laser printers which means either hand-writing the address or printing a label both of which are a nuisance. But that's how it is.
