The cups are advertised to hold hot or cold beverages. The cups are strong but on the thin side and the lids fit nice and tight but the cups are too thin and uncomfortable to hold when I first filled it with my hot coffee. I needed a coffee sleeve for which I did not have. Kind of sad I have so many of them as plan to use instead of waste them.
