The Chair Mat with Lip works really well for now. We had one long time ago but it wore out. However we just purchased a new one until we put our wood floors in. Then we will need to purchase one for the wood floors.

After using the mat for a little while there are ruts where the wheels of my chair have set for a little while. Then the chair is stuck and it’s hard to roll out of the rut. I don’t believe this has anything to do with my carpet.
